Roger Marshall to serve on House Ag Committee

It was announced today by Chairman K. Michael Conaway (R-TX) that Dr. Roger Marshall, United States Representative of Kansas 1st Congressional District, will serve on the House Ag Committee.

The Ag Committee is expected to see important legislation during the 115th session of congress, including the next Farm Bill. They are also expected to tackle trade issues in the coming year.

Marshall was sworn in as a member of the United States House of Representatives by House Speaker Paul Ryan on January 3, 2017. He defeated incumbent Tim Huelskamp in the 2016 Republican Primary. That was followed by a victory in the November General Election.
